CDA&I Architecture and Interiors

CDA-I was looking to refresh their web presence with a portfolio that resonated their own narrative process for designing spaces. Their new portfolio maximizes the visual impact of their work while maintaining a sophisticated, editorial feel. Custom Wordpress development gives them a great deal of control over their project views while gesture detection and CSS media queries made the site a great experience to hand potential clients on a tablet.

GHI Design

When I joined GHI as their interactive designer it solidified the boutique studio's decision to bring real understanding of the web in house. As one of my first initiatives I began to reimagine our web presence. I wanted to move beyond our static, Flash-based site into something that felt contemporary and would allow the classically trained designers to participate. The result is an elegant, open-source platform with higher web visibility and familiar navigation patterns.

Philadelphia Wooden Boat Factory

The Philadelphia Wooden Boat Factory brings struggling high school students from the Frankford section of the city into their workshop and mentors them on the craft and engineering of small to medium wooden boats. At GHI, I acted as lead designer and developer for their focused and audience-oriented relaunch. Using modern HTML5 and responsive CSS practices the site is context sensitive to a host of platforms.
